i used to promote for a number of salons in LA and have also visited a number of salons here in NY since I moved here couple years ago. No other place has ever done such an awesome job on my hair. My hair is pretty thin and i like to get layers and bangs to give me volume. Asking a hair stylist to make thin hair look volumized and big is close to asking the impossible - this salon did the best job ever on both my bangs (which im very warry of getting done usually) and the tons of layers he put in my hair to give it body. You can't go wrong here!

A very nice haircut in a low keyed atmosphere. I restrained Mahmoud, my charming stylist, from doing anything radically different (needing to keep length for the summer to put the mane up), so had he been given free rein, I suspect I could have had something exceptional (but not my summer plan). Be warned, cash only, and the salon is a little low on ammenities (no offer of water, and the robe put over my shirt, rather than a full changing room. Very satisfied with the cut.

Awesome, awesome! Great cut and no pressure to buy stuff i won't use. Been looking for a hairdresser who can cut my curly hair and this could be my regular place! Mourad was patient, professional and really nice!

Got a cool new cut from Nadja. She was the first stylist in a long time who just did something that was original with my very straight, fine hair. I appreciated her skills. Plus she's super cool to talk to.
