Beautiful space, but unless you're a celebrity, the desk staff isn't very friendly. Despite my email & text confirmation of the time I booked, they insisted I booked for a half hour later. And the technician was running late, so I was there for a full hour (and not offered water or tea). It was my first time getting microdermabrasion. It felt like a small, intense vacuum cleaner. I didnt find it as effective as a deep cleaning facial with extractions. Although since it takes a lot less time than an elaborate facial, I think it's worth doing, since my skin is clearer than it was pre-treatment. It was worth the $45 price, but I can't imagine paying more for this place.

I'm not sure how to rate, to be honest. Thete was some mixup with them not getting the booking right, but they were very accomodating and fit me in so I give points for that. I've had a VI Peel done before at a dermotologist office and the peel was done in several layers. By 2 days I had started peeling. The solution was also applied with a brush. Here it was just rubbed on, no layers, and I have not started peeling after 3 days and in fact see no evidence of anything having been done to my skin. Before the peeling process the skin should get very tight and almost dry, but none of that is happening this time. I guess I will have to wait and see if this peel was actually done correctly or not. The price is good, but not if there are no results. They're also fairly affressive on upsell, something I don't like, so be warned.
