I received an overall OK hair cut here. I've had much better haircuts elsewhere, but the woman who cut my hair (who I think is a junior stylist) was very nice and did make it look better than before I walked in.

I have long, thick, wavy hair and Eddie cuts exactly how I want it. The layers/angles look great and are extremely even. He kept it long, just like I asked - he is great at what he does and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I like the haircut and the stylist really spent a good deal of time cutting it just so. Almost a month later, and I still like how it looks. However, my boyfriend and his roommate couldn't see any difference between this cut and my normal $35 haircut (but they are grubby boys, so what do they know).

This salon is great. I have now had cuts from both Eddie & Monet and they're both awesome. I've loved all 3 haircuts I've gotten here and always think the other customers look great when they leave. I have short hair and have been trying different stylists for over a year. There are a lot of salons on the LES, but it's hard to find one with great stylists and without a lot of obnoxious attitude. Both Monet & Eddie really know hair, listen well, aren't afraid to do something different and are very down to earth. They also won't treat you like a 2nd class customer for booking on lifebooker. Seriously, go here.

I'm reluctant to write about how much I love my haircut and hairdresser because I want him all to myself. Eddie rocks. He listens to you and then meticulously brings it to life. Boom. Found my nyc hairdresser.
