Haircut looks okay. I would think that with my shoulder length mildly wavy thick hair, if she put more than ten minutes into it, it would have more definition.

i've been going to devon for a few months now and have always been happy with the results. she knows how to work with my coarse asian hair really well. i'll usually bring in a picture of what i want and then describe what i want as well and she does a fantastic job of making it happen. she also colors my hair and does an amazing job with that as well. i recommend riah to every single one of my friends! and some of them have started going and have the same raves as me.

This small, but cozy salon in the heart of Soho really is a hidden gem. The ladies that run the salon were both in when I went for my haircut and were super friendly. I asked for a straight forward trim with face framing layers, and that's what I got!

horrible experience. My "rich chocolate brown" color is back. I found Devon and the owner to be as phony and disingenuous as it gets. Chairs were old and uncomfortable and hurt my back and the shampoo station hurt my neck. Speaking of the shampoo after the dye, it was minimal. I ended washing most of the dye out of my hair four days later - which probably explains why it turned black. The haircut was ehhh, and I am not sure why any stylist thinks its ok to razor thick and course hair. It may make the job easier for them, but it only frizzes out the hair. They also complained about lifebooker - what services they didn't allow and that they were forced to offer hair coloring because of the interface, when they clearly didn't want to do. Poor job and really ungracious, unprofessional and fake behavior.

Devon did an excellent job with my hair. I have challenging, very fine, awkwardly wavy/curly hair. Devon listened to my requests, made good suggestions, took her time and focused, and regularly asked for my feedback to make sure I left feeling comfortable about the cut. She seems be a down-to-earth, practical, hard worker, and I appreciate that. I'm happy with the cut and have also received compliments from others. I will certainly continue getting my hair cut at Riah with Devon.

Devon was amazing! One of the best haircuts I've had; it looks great...certainly a lot better than it did! I would highly recommend Riah to anyone looking for a good haircut and friendly service.
