I am giving the hairstylist, not the salon, 5 stars. I bought a Lifebooker certificate for a haircut with Leslie Ellen Abbate, and she did an INCREDIBLE job. I was really specific with my instructions and telling her what I wanted, and she exceeded my expectations. She is a very talented hair cutter and I was really impressed with how she gave me the exact cut and style I was hoping for. Money really well spent. If you have a chance to get your hair cut with her, go for it. You'll walk out feeling like a new person.

leslie gave me a great cut. she had to chop off more then i expected due to a previous haircut at a different salon. but she made sure that i knew why she was doing this and talked me through a plan to get my hair back to the length i wanted. she knows her curly hair and i left satiafied and looking great! definitly coming back!!

I love my haircut and color by Leslie! She seems to really understand my hair (which is super fine) and gives great suggestions. And I appreciate that she's more than happy to talk to you about what you want and don't want -- she really wants to make sure it's perfect. People keep saying this is the best haircut I've ever had, and I think they're right!

I liked Leslie a lot as a person and my haircut was good, but was no impressed with the service. I got a call at 5:40 as I was literally walking out the door to go to the salon telling me my 6:00 appointment had been pushed until 6:30 (I had dinner reservations after my appointment and was nervous about this last minute shift). Then when I got there they STILL weren't ready for me so I ended up waiting longer. They did give me a free deep condition under the dryer while I waited, which was nice. Finally, when it was my turn, Leslie seemed distracted because the girl who had been before me had not been happy with the length of her hair. She eventually was able to focus on me and from then on it was fine. My haircut itself looks great and I've been getting tons of compliments at work. For the money it was worth it, I just suggest you have a flexible schedule when making your appointment because you may end up waiting a while!

I arrive on time for my appointment, was standing for a good 7-10mins as the receptionist was busy. A huge, fancy salon and no seats to keep you comfortable while waiting. First off, I have over the shoulders thick straight hair, not hard to cut right? Wrong. I had to hear a lecture like I've never been to a salon before like how I have to stick and work w/ the same stylist indefinitely. And I have to come back at least one more time to complete the cut. I was in the salon for nearly 2 hours w/ her shuffling between me and 2 other clients while keeping one waiting. thats already a reason for me not to want to go back. When she got to styling my hair, she had the blowdryer almost touching my hair and it was very hot almost burning my scalp. When I told her that, she said that she won't turn it down and I should not tell her to do her job just like when I'm at the doctors I let him do his. Luckily I'm not 6years old and I have the option to never go back and let everyone know that stylists make high end salons not interiors. Overall the cut was mediocre hence 3stars.
