I had a great experience here - it was clean, calm, tastefully decorated, and Phil gave me a great massage. I expected the entry to be a lot shadier based on other reviewers comments, but it's your typical NYC 2nd story kind of industrial entry - nothing shady about it. I do agree with other commenters that the massage rooms are a bit small and the therapist had a difficult time moving around the table, but the quality of service, especially for the money, more than made up for it. Overall, great experience - I'll be back!

This was my first deep tissue massage and I must say it was an experience. I had Yvonne work on me, and she was very rough on me since I am a very fit young woman. I was having chronic lower back pain, so she focused a lot on that area and up near my shoulders. I was actually moaning from the pain... and I still have deep bruises 5 days later.... but she was wonderful. She told me at any point in time she would stop working as hard if it was too painful. She also gave me suggestions as to ease the tension in my lower back. And guess what... I haven't had a tenth of the amount of back pain I had before seeing her.

I really enjoyed this massage and the salon in general. It's not the best I've ever had, but it was very, very good quality for the price. The outside is a little weird (I wasn't sure I was in the right place), but once they buzz you up, it's a really nice salon. I had to wait for the masseuse because I had an early Saturday appointment and the trains were messed up (as always). The owner kept apologizing and even offered me a free manicure on my next visit. The actual room for the massage wasn't amazing, but it was fine. I wish there had been a chair or shelf for clothing because you just had to put it on the floor. The room was a tad bit cold, and they didn't have heated tables like some places. The masseuse, Liz, was very good. She used the perfect amount of pressure. Like I said, you could probably get a better massage, but not for $55. I will definitely be going back.

Everyone was very nice and the massage was wonderful. Clean and pleasant rooms. Agree with the other reviewer that nothing was scented, but not a problem.

I was a bit late but they managed to fit me in. Space looked fine and treatment was quick and fairly painless.
