great loved it
Very professional so that you don't feel self-conscious. Completely unscented so there's not perfume-y smell. Great results: natural-looking color and even application. Will definitely return.
I am super pale and everyone told me how natural it looked! Best to do on a friday evening or saturday cause a pale girl looks pretty tan the first 12 hours but after the first and 2nd shower it really looks great. My coworkers couldn't believe how great it looked on monday!
The color is really dark and strange. They took a lot of time on me, but the color just did not come out right. I have had many spray tans. Go to Brazil Bronze or another place instead.
The color was very natural and the staff was very helpful. The tan didn't last as long as I was hoping for, especially for the price.
Great job, a bit pricey considering there are many other places that spray just as well for less money. But in a pinch i went and was pleased.

About Faux Glow
Faux Glow is a premiere Spa in NYC. We specialize in Airbrush Tanning. We also have just added spa services to our menu. Airbrush tanning is not a science, it's an art. The success of this art relies largely on who applies it.
Preparation Instructions for your appointment:
1) Get ready, if you need to wax or shave try to do it the day before. Please put some lotion on your legs after you shaved or waxed to avoid streaking - but only your legs (where you shaved or waxed). You can shave after as well, as needed. You will need to ex foliate in the shower before you come (do not use an oil based exfoliating scrub "sugar scrubs or salt scrubs" - this will leave a residue on the skin which can act as a barrier when we apply the product on your body).
2) Please don't put on any lotion. We want to get the product on to clean skin. Except if you wax or shave - see note in #1.
3) What about a manicure/pedicure... it's best to do it before the treatment. If you do it after, just wait until the next day or it will cause streaking.
4) Please bring something a little bit loose and dark to wear after your appointment as the color can rub off inside your clothes while it is setting. Please don't wear tight jeans/pants as they absorb the product from the skin.
