Tomoko is really great. I have had more compliments on my hair since my haircut than ever before. As a curly girl (3b/3c), I'm always really nervous to switch to a new stylist, especially one who doesn't have curly hair themselves. Tomoko really took the time to understand the natural curl pattern in my hair. She discussed my options for my haircut with me, including advice on my bang length as I transition into the summer heat. I wear my hair curly 40% of the time, straight 60% of the time, and it looks great both ways. She does a better cut and style than any of the ones I've gotten at Vidal Sassoon for twice the price. Definitely recommend!

Tomoko is a true artist. She is extremely passionate about her work and so much fun to talk to. She has a very inspiring personality, and is very intellectually curious. One one appointment I brought her a photo and she made my hair look exactly like it. That was really impressive. Highly recommended

Tomoko is an amazing stylist and a wonderful person too. My hair is gorgeous. She really took the time to listen to what I want, give suggestions, provide styling advice, etc. I felt confident in her abilities even before she started cutting. The appointment started late but Tomoko was so sincerely appologetic and even gave me a discount on my cut to make up for it. I had a glass of white wine while I waited and the girl who washed my hair gave the best scalp massage ever. I've received tons of compliments on my hair. Will definitely return.

Tomoko is great!!! She listened to my concerns/thoughts about my hair and made sure to address all of them during my cut. I have a lot of hair but did not feel like she rushed through anything. I HIGHLY recommend her!
