My boyfriend had a shoulder injury and after months of pain and stiffness, I booked him an appointment at Akoya with Corinne. Following the hour-long treatment, he told me that he was sore (first acupuncture treatment ever). About four hours later, he called me and told me that he felt "FANTASTIC" (and I quote). He said that he already has more mobility in his shoulder than previously, and also said that she had extremely strong hands and knew 100% what she was doing. He even said that "the pain felt right and productive", which I'm familiar with, as a ballet dancer. Thanks Corinne!

This was my first experience with acupunture so I was a little nervous. She made me feel confortable right away. I was having pain in my legs from running and I felt instant relief after my appointment.

She was very kind, patient, and understanding. There are some types of acupuncture that can cause discomfort or pain so she was very slow and gentle and listened to me. Really great :)

This was my first time getting acupunture and it was a great experience. She explained everything she was going to do in detail, and why. She made me feel very comfortable and I left feeling completely relaxed. Highly recommended!

I have never had acupuncture before, but I was eager to try something new. My session was great. I felt comfortable enough to ask questions and relax. We talked about what I wanted out of the session and I was even given a referral for an herbalist to seek out additional treatment for ailments through herbs. I have followed up on this referral and had a great experience. I am extremely happy that I went to Akoya.
