I booked a massage for me and my husband though LIfeBooker, and mine was great, while his was awful. The massage therapist that I had did an excellent job, but did rub a little too hard at times. The one my husband had (a male) hurt him so terribly that he was in pain for a week afterwards. He told him to go softer and go easy around his neck, and he didn't listen even a bit. Rather disappointing, especially because mine was great. I felt awful, as it was a Valentine's day gift for him for both of us, and it ended up ruining our v-day because he was in so much pain after the "massage" he received. Probably will not be coming back to this place, even though they were very nice!

I booked a Relaxation Massage for myself and my husband near Valentine's day, and to say the least, it was anything but relaxing. The woman I had was good, but the man my husband had was terrible. The massage says it is a mix of Deep Tissue and Swedish - it is mostly deep tissue, and it hurt a lot!! We know deep tissue massage hurts, but the man my husband had was extremely rough and he did NOT listen when my husband told him to go softer. The lady I had was great, but again, it was not relaxing. We were both sick and sore on Valentine's day - it was not what we expected. If I ever want to be massaged to death again, I'll come back here.

Smoothie pedicure was good, but it didn't remove all of the caloused area... in fairness, it had been a long time since my last pedicure so if I went more often I'm sure it would've done the job. Polish lasted almost 3 wks.

Tommy or Tony (can't remember) did my massage. He was a very skilled and in fact, fantastic massage therapist. The reason for only 3 stars is its the avg of my 5 star massage and the 1 star surprise i got. I signed up for a 60 minute hot stone massage. As in many other places, I filled out the medical form, indicating that my shoulders were bothering me. Then, I got a massage that seemed to spend a lot of time on my shoulders. Then, within like 5 minutes of me turning onto my back, it was over. No massage of my arms, chest, or the front of my legs. When i expressed my surprise he said it was because I was a woman, because I said my back hurt, if I wanted a full body massage I should get a 90 minute masssage next time. So I take it to the front desk and nobody working there has the authority to deal with my complaint, although i wasted quite a bit of time telling me story to 2 people before the manager finally arrived. I said I didn't get the service I agreed to pay for and that I would be happy to pay a lower amount of $. I kept being told that it was somehow my fault that the therapist didn't communicate with me as he decided to do my back at the expense of the front of my body AT ALL, that you can't do all that in 60 minutes, despite my experience of having had many very satisfying 60 minute full body hot stone massages. She even had the nerve to say, "well, since you bought it on lifebooker, it was ALREADY discounted." That was among my favorite lines. that and, we can give you another 10 minutes now if you want, or "we can add another 10 minutes to your next massage" as if I would give them repeat business after they chose to demand the full fee rather than graciously apologizing and giving me the discount I asked for, taking responsibility for the misunderstanding, and treating me with actual CUSTOMER SERVICE. It would have been so easy for them to avoid me writing this review and losing me as a customer, but as I explained, because of the way this was handled, this is the result. Too bad too, because it was a really good massage.
